About Me

Aniruddha M Godbole works at the intersection of Computer Science, Business (Finance, Energy, Operational Risk, other business data) and Statistics. He has successfully led numerous Data Science projects for some of the world’s largest organizations. Aniruddha has in-depth experience in identifying Data Science problem statements, designing experiments and building fully functional prototypes. Some of his code has been included in the Artic code repository.

Aniruddha is a co-author of Packt Publishing UK’s “The Natural Language Processing Workshop” (August 2020) and the first author of the paper “Empowering Borrowers in their Choice of Lenders: Decoding Service Quality from Customer Complaints,” ACM International Web Science Conference (June/July 2019 Boston; co-author: Professor David Crandall, Indiana University). He has advised the Reserve Bank of India on Priority Sector Lending Certificates—an idea that was first proposed by him in his article “How to lend more to the poor” (Mint, 28-Mar-2007).

Aniruddha has an MS in Data Science from Indiana University, USA and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance from National Institute of Bank Management, India. He has spoken on more than 50 occasions on topics in Data Science and Financial Risk Management. He is certified Professional Risk Manager (PRM) by the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association, USA and was previously a member of the PRMIA Bangalore Chapter Steering Committee.
